Medical Disclaimer

Rinova provides FHIR R5-compliant clinical documentation and workflow tools. These tools are designed to assist healthcare professionals and should not replace professional medical judgment. Healthcare providers remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all patient data and medical information entered into our platform. Rinova does not claim ownership of your data but requires certain rights to provide our services effectively.

Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that temporarily affect service availability.

Intellectual Property

Our platform, including all software, architecture, and proprietary technology, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology without explicit written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Rinova provides healthcare platform tools and services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We provide standards-based clinical documentation tools to support healthcare workflows.

Healthcare professionals remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions, patient care, and medical outcomes. Our tools are designed to support, not replace, professional medical judgment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rinova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rinova and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services in violation of these terms
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Clinical decisions made using our AI recommendations
  • Unauthorized access to or use of your account

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with or without cause. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. You will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and intellectual property will survive termination of this agreement.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Rinova.
